Job Summary
Assess the effectiveness of employee wellness programs, identify gaps between current offerings and workforce needs, and propose or deliver new programs to close those gaps. Partner with key stakeholders to gather input, coordinate program delivery, and ensure initiatives are responsive, well-communicated, and aligned with broader HR and organizational goals. This role supports the Southcentral Foundation's mission to serve Alaska Native and American Indian communities by fostering physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness through tailored health and related services.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma; OR GED
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Health, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- demonstrated proficiency as an HR Assistant, Background & Credentialing Assistant, Benefits Assistant, Recruiting Assistant, Supervisor I, health education programs, or similar position at SCF
- One (1) year of experience in human resources or public/health education
- thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area
