Job Summary
Employee Support Career Coach Coordinator will provide individualized support to program participants through all phases of the program including on-the-job coaching and meeting with employers to set participant goals and mediate work and personal challenges by connecting employees to services and jobs, identifying training opportunities, and updating programmatic benchmarks. Essential duties include tracking retention milestones, supporting employee transitions to regular employment, conducting employment readiness assessments, building relationships with prospective employers, providing resume and interview coaching, conducting workshops and presentations, and collaborating with universities, training facilities, and community organizations to identify resources and assist with applications and enrollment. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; California Driver License is a certificate/license requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
