Job Summary
HR leadership role focused on building and guiding Employee Services, driving scalable and compliant HR processes, and enabling HR Business Partners and COEs to focus on strategic work. Accountabilities include designing and evolving a 1HR model with clear roles and handoffs between Shared Services, HRBPs, and COEs; partnering with HR leadership to translate business needs into scalable solutions; managing change across HR processes, systems, and service delivery; implementing a tiered HR support model; developing HR knowledge resources; expanding self-service with HRIS; reducing manual work through documentation and automation; overseeing HR vendor performance and contract negotiations; ensuring data accuracy and real-time reporting; producing recruitment analytics for executive decision-making; delivering HR compliance and training; and driving continuous process improvements. The role requires strong collaboration with managers and leaders, cross-functional coordination, and a track record of improving employee experience, efficiency, and compliance in a global, possibly engineering-focused environment. Continuous improvement, organizational, administrative, and communication skills, plus travel readiness (domestic and international) are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- 10 years’ human resources experience in HR operations, shared services, or employee services corporate environments
- 2 years’ of people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience with employee lifecycle processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines, and their impact on HR and other business processes
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of HR operational policies, procedures, and practices
- Demonstrated skills in independent decision-making, influencing, negotiating, and analytical and creative problem-solving; sound business judgment; and the drive to achieve results
- Demonstrated success developing, implementing, measuring, and improving effective programs in an HR functional area
- Demonstrated success leading teams to achieve business goals and objectives
- Working knowledge of an ATS
- Working knowledge of recruiting platforms, technologies, and networking tools
- Demonstrated effective relationship management skills with demonstrated experience establishing credibility and partnering with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risk, and plans for actions
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, less than 10%
