Job Summary
Employee Relations Specialist at Moog leads HR-facing investigations and coaching for front-line leaders, interprets policies, ensures compliance with employment laws, and drives employee engagement initiatives. The role combines employee relations responsibilities (investigations, policy interpretation, investigations, coaching) with engagement activities (planning, organizing, facilitating programs and events) to strengthen morale and overall employee satisfaction. The position supports sites in Cleveland and Orrville, OH with regular on-site presence and travel as needed, and includes providing policy education, coordinating HR programs with COEs/HRBPs, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Over five (5) years of progressive experience in employee relations (e.g., workplace investigations, corrective actions, policy interpretation)
- Must be able to commute to Highland Heights, OH and Orrville, OH facilities
- Generally onsite three days at Highland Heights and two days at Orrville each week
- Ability to travel as needed for remote site support and/or corporate initiatives
