Employee Relations Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and alleged misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations. Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations issues, facilitate mediations, and ensure consistent application of company policies and labor laws. Develop training programs on effective communication, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion while maintaining accurate confidential records. Partner with HR Business Partners and legal counsel to address complex issues, analyze data on employee relations trends, and recommend updates to company policies. Work 1st/2nd shifts at the Florence, KY facility as a campus resource.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in employee relations or a similar role
- Experience in a manufacturing or technology environment
- Some high-volume ER case experience
- Demonstrated exposure conducting objective and thorough investigations into workplace complaints
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII)
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and active listening skills
- Excellent conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation abilities
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Location: Florence, KY facility
- Shift: 1st/2nd shifts, as necessary

- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
