Employee Relations Manager

Job Summary

Lead all employee relations matters across Innovative Dining Group, serving as the primary resource for workplace concerns, employee complaints, and conflict resolution. Conduct prompt, thorough, and objective workplace investigations involving policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct. Coach managers through performance concerns, corrective action, performance improvement plans, and terminations. Develop and execute employee relations initiatives that strengthen engagement, accountability, and retention. Analyze employee feedback, exit interviews, and turnover trends to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with legal counsel to interpret employment laws, respond to claims, and ensure compliance while minimizing organizational risk. Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation and employment records. This role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and partners with Operations and Training. Candidates must be based in West Hollywood or Las Vegas, working a hybrid schedule of at least three days per week, and be willing to travel regularly throughout the restaurant portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong focus on Employee Relations
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-state employment laws
  • California employment law expertise
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations matters
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through corrective action
  • Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through terminations
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of hospitality compliance best practices
  • Ability to meet the location requirements of the role
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout IDG's restaurant portfolio
  • Ability to be based in the West Hollywood office or Las Vegas
