Job Summary
Conduct proactive, consultative employee relations support across three regional sites, serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on matters for both management-represented and union-represented staff. Coach leaders through complex and sensitive situations, strengthen day-to-day people practices, and use field-level insights to inform broader strategies and risk mitigation efforts. Collaborate with HR business partners, legal, labor relations, and risk teams to drive consistent, compliant, and employee-centered outcomes while translating enterprise people strategy into effective local practices. Operate as an embedded People Partner to foster a positive, high-performing work environment, leveraging case trends and listening insights to support continuous improvement and a respectful workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- Progressively responsible employee relations or human resources experience
- Direct experience with investigations
- Direct experience with performance management
- Direct experience with employee relations casework
- Demonstrated experience handling investigations
- Demonstrated experience handling performance management
- Demonstrated experience handling discipline
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations casework
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
- Knowledge of federal regulations
- Knowledge of state regulations
- Demonstrated ability to coach leaders through complex and sensitive employee situations
- Sound judgment
