Employee Relations Advisor

Job Summary
Provide ER advisory service to operational management across the UK, acting as the first point of contact for a broad range of generalist HR issues. Responsibilities include case management of disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, probation, AWOL, and flexible working; advise line managers on informal and formal ER issues; ensure policy guidance aligns with current laws; maintain accurate ER case documentation; deliver training and development to upskill managers; engage with trade unions and employee representatives; monitor ER KPIs and support improvements; role involves remote work day-to-day with occasional travel to bases/sites within the support area, including travel to a Shrewsbury office for collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- CIPD level 3 minimum or completed
- minimum 3 years HR experience
- experience in Employee Relations or ER
- ability to provide remote and on-site ER support across multiple locations
- UK work location and willingness to travel nationally
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
