Job Summary

Oversight and coordination of the Southcentral Foundation employee recognition program, including identifying recognition opportunities, organizing events, and tracking metrics to evaluate impact and inform improvements. Partner with internal department leaders and external vendors to ensure recognition efforts are consistent, well-communicated, and aligned with the organization's mission and vision. This role supports an exceptional employee experience within the Human Resources team. The position requires a thorough understanding of the cultures and needs of the primary population served by SCF, including Alaska Native and American Indian communities, to ensure program alignment with the goal of achieving physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • GED
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations
  • demonstrated proficiency as an HR Assistant
  • demonstrated proficiency as a Background & Credentialing Assistant
  • demonstrated proficiency as a Benefits Assistant
  • demonstrated proficiency as a Recruiting Assistant
  • demonstrated proficiency as a Supervisor I
  • demonstrated proficiency in a similar position at SCF
  • a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI)
  • a thorough understanding of the needs of Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area
