Job Summary
Onboarding Specialist expected to design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive onboarding experiences for new Clark Pacific employees, including virtual, in-person, and hybrid sessions; manage new hire documentation (I-9, CA tax forms, notices to employee) and ensure compliance within California timelines; collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, Facilities, and hiring managers to track onboarding progress, serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, and support pre-hire onboarding workflows; develop and continuously improve onboarding content and checklists, support automation and HRIS improvements, and foster an inclusive, welcoming onboarding experience; requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of HR/training program design, with knowledge of California employment regulations and experience using HRIS; compensation range is $31.00-$42.00 per hour, onsite at Clark Pacific HQ in West Sacramento, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent related experience in lieu of education
- 2+ years of related Human Resources and/or Training program design and coordination experience
- Knowledge of California employment regulations
- Experience using HRIS and onboarding systems
- Experience designing, facilitating, and coordinating employee orientation and training programs
- Related experience in a multi-location organization (operations in California required)
