Job Summary
Production Planning Specialist coordinating orders across Sales, Assembly, and Manufacturing to optimize resource use, on-time delivery, quality, and cost. Responsible for planning and coordinating production orders, validating technical feasibility of customer orders, defining delivery schedules and batch sizes, managing workload of assembly teams, ensuring material availability, and communicating with internal/external stakeholders. Drives continuous improvement in production efficiency, inventory levels, lead times, and costs; supports ramp-up of new products and maintains ERP master data. Requires completed education in Production/Logistics/Industrial Engineering or related field, SAP PP/MM proficiency, strong analytics, and collaborative, proactive mindset. Pays attention to long-term, cross-functional coordination in a global high-tech environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completed technical or commercial education (e.g., apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or equivalent) with a focus on Production, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Professional experience in production planning, scheduling, or a comparable role is considered an advantage
- Proficient in SAP PP and MM modules, and advanced MS Office skills (Excel)
- Strong analytical and organized working style

- Salary guided by metal trade collective agreement; monthly gross salary €2,800 as minimum (subject to individual adjustment)
