Employee In Charge (EIC)

Provide on-track safety by setting up derails, track signs, and safety tools while coordinating job sites and maintaining radio contact with dispatchers and train crews. Conduct mandatory, thorough job briefings with all crew members before they enter the track and enforce all federal, state, and company policies. Prepare daily field reports documenting rule violations and utilize communication tools to support train movement coordination. This role requires extensive travel, 50% to 85% of the time, and successful completion of required training.
