Job Summary
Conduct occupational health services including new hire assessments, work-related vaccines, TB testing, and worker's compensation injury care. Provide acute care for episodic illnesses, perform onsite screenings for cholesterol, glucose, and blood pressure, and manage chronic disease management and medication reviews. Lead interdisciplinary outbreak management by coordinating mass asymptomatic testing, isolating cases, and managing exposure data. Deliver lifestyle counseling on smoking cessation, nutrition, and disease prevention while maintaining confidential electronic medical records and departmental budgets. Ensure patient safety through OSHA-compliant fit testing, onsite labs, and continuous improvement of wellness offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Training and current certification as an NP
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of staff management, including delegating, developing, coaching, and motivating employees
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Current licensure in the state where working
- CPR certified
- Phlebotomy skills
- Must complete regulatory online Health Stream courses and attend the orientation for understanding the Person Centered Approach to care

- Previous experience with electronic medical records
- Occupational health or primary care setting
- Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA
- Knowledge of computer-based medical records management systems
