Job Summary
Conduct acute care, injury management, and health screenings for Erickson employees, including new hire assessments, immunizations, and chronic disease management. Manage occupational health services such as work-related vaccines, drug testing, and worker's compensation injury care while maintaining confidential electronic medical records. Lead interdisciplinary outbreak management for infectious diseases, coordinate mass asymptomatic testing, and provide lifestyle counseling for disease prevention. Perform diagnostic test interpretation, medication reviews, and non-judgmental care for uninsured employees, ensuring patient safety and policy compliance. Maintain departmental budgets and collaborate with the Infection Control Officer to improve vaccination rates.
Required Qualifications
- Training and current certification as an NP
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of staff management, including delegating, developing, coaching, and motivating employees
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Current licensure in the state where working
- CPR certified
- Phlebotomy skills
- Must complete regulatory online Health Stream courses and attend the orientation for understanding the Person Centered Approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA
- Knowledge of computer-based medical records management systems
