Employee Health Nurse - Full-time

Job Summary
Administer nursing care to sick and injured employees, facilitate medical intervention, and provide case management for work-related injuries. Prepare state and insurance reporting forms, monitor surgeries and diagnostic procedures, and verify lost time for temporary total disability payments. Direct injured employees to appropriate providers, establish communication networks with workers' compensation managers, and manage transitional duty programs. Perform post-job offer physical assessments for new hires to determine fitness for duty, coordinating with medical consultants on ADA and infection control issues. Maintain confidential health records and generate departmental reports in compliance with State, Federal, OSHA, CDC, and Joint Commission regulations. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm at the Corporate Center in Milwaukee.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN
- 2+ years nursing experience
- Case Management, Occupational Health, ER or community health experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, walk, and stand frequently
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to lift above head occasionally
- Must be able to drive and provide own transportation
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- RN-Registered Nurse (30) license in State of Wisconsin
- Full-time employment availability
- M-F 7:30am-4pm schedule availability
