Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, provide first aid, and manage follow-up for employees experiencing illness or injury while at work. Coordinate immunization programs, exposure monitoring, and health surveillance activities in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines. Assist with return-to-work case coordination by communicating with employees, department leaders, and appropriate agencies regarding work restrictions and abilities. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records, documentation, and reports in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Provide education to employees on health promotion, infection prevention, injury prevention, and workplace safety practices. Collaborate with Human Resources and safety personnel to support compliance with OSHA, CDC, and organizational health policies. Requires current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Current or temporary RN License in North Dakota or compact RN license
- RN program as evidenced by licensure
- Sufficient previous experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of work related injuries
- Experience in assessing injuries and providing first aid
- Computer skills
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of WSI, OSHA guidelines, and CDC recommendations
- Proficient in nursing skills and nursing assessments
- Ability to understand health concepts and terminology
- Good communication, attention to detail, strong leadership, and effective interpersonal relationship skills
- Self starter
- Ability to work independently
- Highly organized
- Adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities
- Strict adherence to infection-control practices
- PPE requirements
- Workplace safety protocols
