Job Summary
Lead strategic employee health management and infection control surveillance to safeguard workforce health and minimize healthcare-associated infections. Develop targeted education and competency development initiatives while overseeing policy and procedure standards across sites. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement using data analytics, ensuring regulatory compliance with CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, and CMS standards. Requires 3–5 years of infection control experience, CIC certification preferred, and 30% travel to locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- RN license (State of LA or Compact)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in infection control, employee health
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, CMS)
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
- 30% travel to sites across Louisiana and MS
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
- Certified BLS Instructor
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Time management skills to address the severity and priority of open issues
