Job Summary
The Employee Dining Room Cook II participates in the preparation, production & service of menu items according to the direction of their Manager. The Cook II is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items following established recipes and safety standards. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, follow daily preparation lists, assist with storage of deliveries, operate kitchen equipment, ensure accurate portion sizes and presentation, and work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service during the 11:00am–7:00pm shift. Reports to the Chef de Cuisine; experience/education preferences include culinary school graduate and 1–2 years in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe or similar certification preferred. Proficiency in English (Spanish a plus) and ability to work under pressure are valued traits.
