Employee Development Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver staff training and development programs at the facility; design and implement specialized training through workshops, seminars, and coursework; assess training needs across all staff levels; prepare written reports and administer testing of enrolled employees; ensure that required staff training opportunities are scheduled and delivered in compliance with state, federal, and facility standards; provide training coordination for all staff and identify/prioritize training needs in addition to required trainings. The role focuses on developing employees in human services, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use contexts; requires a BA/BS or AA with three years of related experience and the ability to support staff development initiatives and credentialing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years’ experience working in IDD
