Job Summary
Assistant for Employee Child Care program at Norwood Elementary; assist the lead teacher in the instruction and care of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years; promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth; classrooms are organized with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for up to 16 infants/toddlers; hours are 11:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, 196 days per year; compensation aligns with the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Experience working with small children preferred
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
