Employee Child Care Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Summary
Assist lead teacher in instruction and care of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years in the Employee Child Care program. Support developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth; classrooms are staffed with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for up to 16 infants/toddlers. Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Schedule is 7:00 AM–4:45 PM, Monday–Friday, 196 days per year. Compensation follows the Anderson County Schools Educational Assistants pay scale.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with small children preferred
