Job Summary
Employee Benefits Account Manager provides above-standard client service to Clients, Producers, Account Executives, and coworkers; serves as the primary contact for assigned accounts and works in a team environment to provide a full range of client services. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability coverages; advising on available coverage options; fostering relationships with clients and carrier representatives; preparing and distributing carrier marketing items and benefit/financial exhibits; evaluating proposals to present best options; exceeding client expectations by handling enrollments and related inquiries; coordinating and potentially conducting carrier/client enrollment meetings. Required qualifications include an Life & Health license, 2–3 years of benefit experience with a broker or carrier, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and HIPAA/ ACA knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Active Life & Health license required
- Minimum 2-3 years’ Benefit experience with a broker or insurance carrier is required
- Knowledge of health insurance coverages, HIPAA rules and regulations, and the ACA, is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication
