Job Summary

Manage client relationships and service requests for employee benefits accounts by advising on coverage lines, assisting with plan changes, claims, and billing, and resolving inquiries to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with Risk Advisors to determine client goals, review policies for accuracy, prepare renewal comparisons, and coordinate carrier and system implementations. Enter activity data into agency management systems in accordance with company procedures while promoting value-added services. Participate in agency service training meetings and pursue professional designations to maintain expertise. Work under the supervision of the Account Management team to progressively increase responsibilities toward independent account management.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to respond to all correspondence in a quick and accurate manner
  • Ability to answer questions regarding all lines of coverage
  • Ability to assist with plan and/or carrier changes
  • Ability to assist with claims
  • Ability to assist with billing
  • Ability to collaborate with Risk Advisors to determine and meet client goals
  • Ability to develop insurance solutions for current clients
  • Ability to review policies to ensure information and coverages are accurate
  • Ability to evaluate and prepare renewal comparisons and policy proposals
  • Ability to communicate and educate clients on policies
  • Ability to coordinate external (e.g. carrier) and internal (e.g. agency management software systems) implementations of new groups
  • Ability to enter activity and other relevant information into the agency management system in accordance with company processes and procedures
  • Ability to resolve inquiries on service problems to ensure client satisfaction
  • Ability to promote and implement value-added services available through North Risk Partners
  • Ability to attend and actively participate in agency service training meetings
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriers
  • Ability to continue professional development
  • Ability to pursue and maintain professional designations if applicable
