Job Summary
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all coverage lines including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability to advise clients on options and evaluate proposals. Foster strong relationships with clients, carriers, and administrative guidelines while preparing and distributing marketing items and benefit exhibits. Exceed client expectations by responding promptly to complex inquiries regarding enrollments and claims, and coordinate carrier or client enrollment meetings as needed. Requires an active Life & Health license, 2-3 years of broker experience, and familiarity with HIPAA and ACA regulations. Competitive salary of $55,000-$75,000 with full benefits including 401k match, PTO, and disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of health insurance coverages, HIPAA rules and regulations, and the ACA
- Minimum 2-3 years' Benefit experience with a broker or insurance carrier
- Active Life & Health license
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled in producing strong written and verbal communication
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building good inter-personal and excellent client relationships
