Job Summary
Account Manager for employee benefits maintaining client relationships and supporting producers in new business and renewals. Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact between client, prospect, agency, and producer; handling service requests; initiating marketing of accounts before renewal and gathering information to obtain carrier proposals; reviewing proposals with Producers to generate presentations; calculating premiums and payroll deductions; auditing billing statements; generating enrollment materials and conducting open enrollment presentations; processing carrier submissions; ensuring a smooth carrier transition; maintaining and updating client files; managing workflow for timely processing; staying current on carrier products and applicable laws; ensuring client accounts are compliant and educating clients on compliance requirements; developing positive carrier relationships to facilitate processing of business.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Employee Benefits and Account Management experience in the insurance field required
- Active Life & Health License required
- Experience with ACA and ERISA preferred
- Experience with fully insured financial arrangements and alternative-funding methods preferred
