Job Summary
Support a portfolio of employee benefits clients by responding to inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, and enrollment processing. Assist with terminations, benefit changes, and open enrollment execution while handling service requests like ID card issues and claims inquiries. Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce and use Employee Navigator for administration. Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure timely service delivery. This role offers a developmental path toward Senior Account Manager and Account Executive within a locally owned consulting firm.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of insurance experience, including individual insurance, Medicare, or a related area
- Basic understanding of health insurance products and terminology
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Active 2-15 Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain one
- Some travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with employee benefits, Employee Navigator, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop within the employee benefits industry
