Job Summary

Manage and oversee employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and ancillary perks, ensuring accurate administration and timely processing of enrollment, termination, and modifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, HR personnel, and external vendors regarding benefits inquiries and processes. Develop, implement, and maintain benefit plans in accordance with legal requirements, conducting regular audits for ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA compliance. Collaborate with insurance providers and brokers to negotiate contracts and resolve issues, while communicating plan details and updates through newsletters and orientation sessions. Maintain accurate records in the HRIS, generate usage and cost reports, and prepare regulatory submissions to agencies like the Department of Labor. Respond promptly to employee inquiries, assist with claims processing and appeals, and provide guidance on eligibility and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with HRIS or other HR software systems for benefits management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in HR or benefits administration (e.g., Certified Employee Benefits Specialist)
