Job Summary
Deliver and lead behavioural risk audits and research engagements by designing, executing, and interpreting empirical studies using behavioural science, statistics, causal inference, and generative AI. Translate complex evidence into clear insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting the adoption of scientific thinking across Internal Audit. Coach colleagues, maintain audit documentation, and contribute to risk intelligence activities to stay at the forefront of developments in data science and behavioural science. Work remotely on a 35-hour basis with a closing date of 23/08/2026.
Required Qualifications
- degree, or equivalent experience, in behavioural economics, economics, psychology, or another relevant empirical social science discipline
- experience applying rigorous research methods to real-world problems
- Strong experience in designing, conducting, and interpreting empirical research, including experimental, quasi-experimental, or other quantitative approaches
- Expertise in statistics, causal inference, and the analysis of large or complex datasets
- ability to develop and test hypotheses
- Strong coding capability for research and statistical analysis, such as Python
- ability to draw robust conclusions from multiple data sources
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
