Job Summary
Operate Amada EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser Turret combination press equipment, maintain tooling libraries, and de-nest parts cut by the EMLK for Just-in-time fabrication. Load and unload products to and from machines while assisting with press brakes, rolls, sheers, drill presses, and spot welders. Interact with Operations, Engineering, and Production Planning regarding work orders and scheduling. Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, follow safety guidelines and workplace rules, and complete paperwork accurately. Requires strong laser, turret punch, or CNC machine operating background with at least one year in manufacturing, basic shop math, blueprint reading, and overhead crane experience. Availability on 1st or 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Laser, Turret Punch or CNC machine operating background
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring
- Ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids
- Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations

- Previous experience working within a highly technical environment
- Perform setups and operations on CO2 Lasers and/or Turret Punch
- Can understand and program G and M code machine language
- Previous experience with overhead crane use

- Availability on 1st or 2nd shift
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Frequently required to bend and stoop
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Welding experience
- Experience working with Trump or equivalent punch/laser combination machines
