Job Summary
Emissions Quant Analyst & Trading Operator (m/f/d) to support trading activities, develop automated tools, and provide quantitative analytics for emissions markets. You will work closely with senior traders in an international environment, design and implement automated tools for emissions compliance and trading processes, contribute to cross-functional collaboration with Product Control, IT, Data & Analytics, and trading desks across Europe with exposure to APAC markets. Key focus areas include data-driven insights, regulatory analysis, and optimization of desk operations, while owning parts of the analytics and tooling developed for commercial decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- First experience in a front-office environment, ideally within power, gas, or emissions trading
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills considered a plus
