Job Summary
Eminent Domain Paralegal responsible for providing legal and administrative support to attorneys in eminent domain and right-of-way matters, including case development, property acquisition processes, and litigation support. Duties include drafting routine legal documents (pleadings, notices, correspondence, discovery), maintaining case files, tracking deadlines and milestones, coordinating with title companies, surveyors, appraisers and other vendors, preparing hearing/trial materials, coordinating logistics for hearings and depositions, communicating with clients and external stakeholders, conducting basic legal/property research, maintaining records for audit purposes, and managing time and document storage in firm systems (iManage). Requires strong organization, attention to detail, ability to work independently and with attorneys and clients, and proficient use of Microsoft Office; paralegal certification and 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred. Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidentiality are essential.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant paralegal experience required, preferably in eminent domain, real estate, or litigation
- Working knowledge of eminent domain, condemnation processes, or real estate transactions preferred
- Familiarity with title review, surveys, and property-related documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred)
