Job Summary
Explain nerve conduction studies to patients prior to exams and review medical records to confirm procedure clearance. Perform nerve conduction studies while recognizing normal and abnormal results, taking steps to eliminate physiological and non-physiological artifact. Assist physicians with documentation of patient history and consult on study results, following established protocols. Maintain equipment working order by checking calibrations and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and FOI policies. Start at $33.00/hr for full-time roles within Florida Orthopaedic Institute's high-level Imaging Services team.
Required Qualifications
- CNCT or RNCST certification
- Graduated a CAAHEP accredited neuro-diagnostic program
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Conforms to HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Maintain CNCT or RNCST certification
- All other duties as assigned
- All candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug screening and/or be subject to random drug testing
