Job Summary
Emerging Technology Manager leads a cross-functional team of Innovation Engineers, AI Engineers, and Developers to define and drive the enterprise roadmap for adopting emerging technologies. Responsibilities include overseeing design, development, and testing of prototypes and PoCs, assessing new technologies and vendor solutions for strategic alignment and ROI, partnering with business leaders to deliver technology-driven solutions, bridging early-stage innovation to scalable enterprise implementations, staying current on AI, blockchain, edge computing and other frontier tech, managing the innovation budget, and delivering AI-driven and frontier technology initiatives. Requires deep expertise in full-stack development, AI/ML frameworks, and low-code platforms, plus strong stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery; leadership/mentorship of a high-impact team and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Notable attributes include a focus on digital transformation, PoCs, and producing production-ready environments in a technology-forward organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data science or technology innovation
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role leading technical teams
- Travel: 10-20%
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 7 AM to 5 PM; flexibility to meet business needs
