Job Summary
Emerging Markets Product Controller – Vice President leads the Emerging Markets Product Control team in a global trading environment, overseeing daily BAU activities, providing leadership and development for team members, and acting as a key point of contact with Front Office, Market Risk, and Finance. Drives automation, efficiency, and standardization across FX and fixed income products (government and corporate bonds, REPO, swaps, futures, options, structured notes), designs robust control frameworks to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance, and manages strategic projects to enhance processes and systems. Develops project documentation, process maps, and training materials, monitors progress and risks, and reports milestones to senior management. Requires significant experience in Product Control/Finance within investment banking, strong leadership, deep product knowledge, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Preferred qualifications include ACA/CFA/PMP and advanced Excel (VBA). The role is located in London, United Kingdom.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
- Significant experience in Product Control, Finance, or related areas within investment banking
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of fixed income and FX products, including swaps, bonds, futures, options, structured notes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple teams and senior stakeholders
- Proven track record in project management, process improvement, or transformation initiatives
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
