Emerging Markets Equity Research Associate

Job Summary
Support emerging markets equity research by assisting senior analysts with fundamental analysis, preparing research documents, understanding industry dynamics and the industry positioning of a company, and maintaining the team’s research library. The role requires good company knowledge, strong modeling and valuation skills, and a solid understanding of ESG issues and risks. It targets a candidate who can work independently under deadlines, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and who is fluent in English and Mandarin. Location options include Zurich or Hong Kong as part of a collaborative, international team within Vontobel's Conviction Equities Boutique.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years investment experience on buy-side or sell-side
- Strong modeling and valuation skills
- Good understanding of ESG issues and risks
- CFA Charter holder (preferred)
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
