Job Summary
Analyze and assess future technology and its military applications, supporting Object-Based Intelligence (OBI) production with a focus on emerging technologies and strategic horizon analysis. Develop and refine ontologies to support OBI production and semantic interoperability within the Defense Intelligence Core Ontology. Apply structured analytic techniques to forecast disruptive shifts, monitor global R&D and technology adoption, and identify potential threats and opportunities. Collaborate with data scientists and technologists to integrate advanced analytics, machine learning, and semantic technologies into analytic workflows. Produce assessments and briefings for senior decision-makers highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic implications of emerging technologies. Ensure documentation of analytic processes to support automation, reproducibility, and integration into knowledge graphs and decision-support systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance
- 8 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience conducting strategic foresight or horizon scanning in a national security or technology context
