Emergent Bilingual/GT Facilitator

Job Summary
Facilitate instruction for emergent bilingual students with a focus on gifted and talented needs. Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans aligned with district curriculum; conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement; organize and facilitate LPAC meetings; provide language-rich classroom opportunities to support English language development (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to set instructional goals; design a differentiated classroom experience for identified gifted and talented students; ensure safe, well-managed classroom environments and adherence to district policies; participate in professional growth activities and contribute to program implementation consistent with Texas Education Agency guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate for elementary with required endorsements in ESL or Bilingual Generalist
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly desired
- GT certification required; Minimum 30 hours in Gifted and Talented with continuing 6-hourupdates annually
