Job Summary
Ward Clerk duties include greeting patients, obtaining accurate records for patient registration, updating information in the system, verifying demographic and insurance information, scanning IDs/insurance, collecting copays. EMT duties involve CPR per AHA guidelines, providing patient care within scope (orthopedic appliance application, wound care, vital signs, 12-lead ECGs, bedside care, point-of-care testing), and maintaining patient confidentiality. The role is a dual assignment with flexibility to shift focus based on department needs. Requires high school diploma, California EMT certification (or national), and BLS certification.
