Job Summary
Assist veterinarians with restraining animals using stress-free techniques, provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, and administer medications via PO, SC, IM, and IV routes. Safely take digital radiographs, calculate drug dosages, and perform catheterization while using in-house laboratory equipment for accurate results. Prepare and monitor patients for sedated and anesthetic procedures, including setup, monitoring, and recovery care. Possess or develop advanced emergency skills to effectively care for clients in a 24-hour emergency environment. Work a 3-day week with weekend and overnight shift differentials.
