Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Ability to induce, monitor and recover anesthesia
- Triage emergency cases in a veterinary setting
- Perform digital radiography
- Understand normal ranges of vital signs
- Obtain and interpret vital signs
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Calculate medical math for medication administration
- Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters
- Mentor and train co-workers
- Communicate effectively with clients
