Job Summary
Conduct shift huddles, manage daily workflow, and assign roles to ensure patients receive top-tier care. Monitor patient status and team bandwidth while jumping in on the floor to assist with any task. Coordinate breaks, resolve conflicts, and lead end-of-day wrap-ups to maintain a smooth, safe environment. Flag incidents with transparency and communicate clearly with staff and pet parents. Work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician or assistant role
- Basic computer skills
- Comprehension of practice management software
- Electronic medical record keeping
- Fine motor skills for handling patients and medical equipment
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on the floor
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg on own
- Ability to support up to 40 kg with assistance
- Willingness to work in a noisy environment
- Willingness to work in an environment with strong or unpleasant odors
- Availability to work nights
