Job Summary
Conduct basic to intermediate nursing care, patient monitoring, and triage based on physical assessment and disease knowledge. Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications, including fluid therapy, blood transfusions, and sedation under supervision. Perform diagnostic tests, collect samples, and assist with diagnostic imaging. Maintain urinary catheters, nasal oxygen tubes, and oxygen cages while working alongside licensed veterinary technicians. Participate in patient rounds to ensure continuity of care and contribute to incoming outpatient and ongoing inpatient services.
