Job Summary
Per diem Emergency Veterinary Assistant in Hoboken, NJ. Be the first warm welcome, triage incoming patients, help guide them toward care, assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics (bloodwork and imaging) and support anesthesia and sedation cases. Set up and manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration. Assist during outpatient or inpatient care from exam room to treatment area, join patient rounds, and stay close to the clinical picture. Learn CPR and become a RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided) and grow into more advanced responsibilities through guided training pathways.
