Emergency Veterinary Assistant - Overnights

Emergency Veterinary Assistant needed for MedVet's fast-paced Emergency team. Responsibilities include recording and delivering organized rounds, evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment, partnering with the patient care team on treatment plans and client communication, providing client education, assisting DVM with patient assessment, treatment and procedures, providing monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients, inducing and monitoring anesthesia/sedation, and performing in-house laboratory testing with samples prepared for outside labs. Must have prior veterinary experience, be proficient in calculations (drugs, CRIs, unit conversions), and be flexible to work additional hours for overnight shifts.
