Emergency Veterinary Assistant and Doctor Coordinator - Overnights

Support specific doctor(s) for a given shift by ensuring departmental workflow, collaborating on scheduling consults and diagnostics, and acting as the point of contact for referral partner transfers. Draft medical record documentation including initial patient history, vital statistics, and treatment orders, while monitoring emails and voicemails for the team. Assist with outpatient procedures such as bandage changes, post-operative radiographs, and medication administration, and prepare exam rooms as needed. Prior veterinary experience is required with proficiency in drug calculations and unit conversions. Flexibility with work hours is essential, including the ability to work additional hours when necessary. This role is part of a fast-paced emergency team where every day presents different cases.
