Emergency Veterinarian - Santa Clarita, CA

Emergency Veterinarian role focused on handling a broad range of emergency cases in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. Responsibilities include triage and immediate patient assessment, performing physical exams, diagnostic workups (ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), formulating diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicating diagnosis and treatment options to clients, preparing and presenting estimates, maintaining accurate medical records, and performing both minor and major emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures. The position emphasizes leadership on the hospital floor, mentorship and continuous learning through VEG Education programs and CE opportunities, and collaboration within a team to deliver high-quality care for all animals, including exotics. Must thrive in a team environment, be able to work nights/weekends/holidays on a rotating basis, and be comfortable in a busy, high-energy setting with variable odors.
