Per diem Emergency Veterinarian in Miami, FL (Edgewater). Handle emergency cases across a broad spectrum including routine and complex emergencies with exotics, perform physical exams, diagnostic workups (ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicate diagnoses and options to clients, prepare and present estimates, maintain accurate medical records, and educate clients on aftercare and prevention. Operate as a hospital-floor leader within a team-oriented environment, provide on-the-floor guidance, participate in VEG Education programs and CE, and perform procedures including emergency surgeries and endoscopic techniques. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as-needed basis; thrive in a fast-paced setting and contribute to a supportive, learning-focused culture at VEG.
