Job Summary
Per diem Emergency Veterinarian at VEG in Clifton, NJ. You will handle emergency cases in a fast-paced ER setting, perform physical exams, diagnostics (ultrasound, X-ray, bloodwork, biopsies), develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, communicate treatment options to clients, prepare estimates, maintain medical records, and perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures. You’ll contribute to a mentored, learning-focused environment with ongoing ER-focused CE and opportunities for growth, including leadership on the hospital floor and support from a team-based culture. Requires a DVM or equivalent degree, commitment to emergency medicine (including emergency surgery and endoscopy), ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg (with assistance up to 40 kg), and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
