Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian role in Palo Alto, CA at VEG. You will handle a broad range of emergency cases, including exotics, perform surgeries and endoscopic procedures, conduct diagnostics (ultrasound, X-rays, bloodwork, biopsies), develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, and communicate treatment options and estimates to clients. The role emphasizes mentorship, continuous learning through VEG Education programs and unlimited ER CE, and opportunities for career growth within a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include triage and seeing patients immediately, gathering signalment and presenting complaints, creating and reviewing medical records, educating clients on aftercare, and participating in emergency surgeries and endoscopy.
