Job Summary
Emergency Veterinarian – Overnight: Provide the highest quality emergency patient care by examining, diagnosing, and treating patients presented on the emergency service according to current veterinary standards; create treatment plans for each patient; collaborate with Specialists and involve referring veterinarians; maintain thorough medical records within 36 hours of discharge; uphold excellent client communication and compassionate patient care; foster a positive team environment and mentor teammates; demonstrate a strong commitment to ethics, continuous learning, and mentorship, and work night shifts with some weekends; relocation support and ESOP benefits are available.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Arizona
- Completed a veterinary internship is highly desired
- Five or more years’ emergency experience is preferred
- Must be Fear Free Certified or willing to become
- Able to work night shift and some weekends
